Hi!
     Although I've shot the M1 Carbine on numerous occasions, I've never actually owned one until now.  I appreciate all the effort and information here and on the website and look forward to using its resources. I have not yet gotten in to mine but can tell you its a Quality Hardware s/n 4702700, Rock-Ola barrell (no date), flat bolt with all the early features - marked IO.  I don't see any stock markings but will watch for those as I get it apart and cleaned up.  It does appear to have alot of carbon build-up and finish wear on it.
