Looking at a late war Inland that has a type II sight with NO markings on side. Replacement?

Also, it has a punch on the right side of the trigger. What does that tell me?

Thanks in advance.

Rockwell hardness or similar test on trigger. I suspect the original rear sight that may have messed the the ole stamping station or something like that.

It is on early carbines, later the stamping was moved down and can be seen behind the
adjustable sight.

I also have a type 2 sight that missed being marked, well used and worn, just never got a mark.
