Any opinions on it here?

I'm thinking of getting a case or 2 as "just in case" ammo, maybe using it on my "plinker" Carbine (The Howa rebuilt by Fulton Armory) linked here

http://www.uscarbinecal30.com/forum/range-report-3rd-m1-carbine-rebuilt-by-fulton-ar_topic4456.html

Or even getting a used commercial Carbine like a Plainfield or Iver Johnson and running it through that.

That way I can get my "Carbine" fix but not burn through my brass cased .30 Carbine ammo (and would be cheaper, unless I bought the commercial carbine)

Thoughts?

IMHO say run it. I have some WW2 carbine ammo that is steel cased. I have shot steel cased ammo in my AR with no problems.

Danke. Tula I've learned to avoid, I've shot enough Wolf steel cased through my AR's to be comfortable with it.

I'll try a case with my Trump bucks

I'm not a fan of steel cased ammo for anything. I can afford brass and that's all I use. Well, ok, I have shot some 9mm alum cased ammo from time to time. As for my precious carbines I want the best ammo and the best ammo comes with brass. That's my opinion.
