Someone is offering this cleaning kit, they claim its for the 30M1, anyone more info on this one ? |

it is 30 cal, not 30 carbine.
It is a Swiss SIG kit that being said, 30 cal is 30 cal as far as brush sizes go and it could be used on a carbine the chamber reamer would probably be useless on a M1 Carbine

Thanks for the fast replie, so thats something I dont need. Was there ever a field cleaning kit for the 30M1 ?

The kit was not specific to the M1 carbine, though contents might be slightly different. Think it was for the Springfield, Garand, 1919a4, and BAR as well as any other 30 cal. Yes the Garand had the M10 cleaning kit, but M1 case with M8 rods could be used as well. M10 page Some interesting posts on experimental kits
