Another day, another NPM (US&S subcontract receiver) has come up for me to consider.
Looking for some thoughts on whether the rear sight is the real deal ( right base unmarked). And also, it looks to me as though the rear sight has been moved or replaced ...does anyone else see the evidence of this? As for the barrel and front sight ....why is the finish so dark? This does not look like original parkerizing to me. I've only ever seen finish this dark on German Police carbines. Anyone have suggestions on this? Finally, does the sling well stamp look legitimate? Looking forward to getting some input. Kind regards |

From the pictures posted , The rear sight is non USGI and the sling stamp is faked . I would guess the finish on the barrel is not original .

I appreciate the prompt replies.
I sense there are a number of red flags with this one. Thanks for the input!
