Has anyone here bought and used M1 Carbine springs from this company?

Not sure if this helps, but I have read a number of negative comments about them on forum boards over the years. Enough where I have found NOS USGI for rifles that needed them, or ones I built. Getting a bit more scarce but they are around yet.

I have plenty of Wolff springs in revolver lock-work, but only read about mixed results in carbines. If they make a GI spec. spring, might be okay. The extra power main spring could be problematic. Extra power is fine for positive lock-up, but can be too strong in the extraction and feeding cycle. A spring too strong exhibits the same symptoms as weak ammo. It probably depends on the gun.

Thanks for the replies guys, maybe for the few bucks they're asking the might be worth a try. For my M1 Carbine they offer standard and heavy. For my CZ 52 the have light, standard and 2 different levels of heavy.

Depended on the spring, in my experience. Extractor, ejector, safety plunger, mag catch and sear springs seemed to work fine. Only hammer spring I got from them could not be installed at all, though if you cut off some coils it might work. Slide springs probably OK. My experience is from ten years ago, so today they could be better, or worse.

I commend Wolff for making spring sets for many vintage firearms and mags. I don't know if they make good springs for an M1 30 carbine. As I have no experience with their carbine springs. I have purchased many spring sets for many firearms from Wolff. From that experience I've found some work well and a few are fair or OK. I think their specs are great on some and just close on others. Reports from several folks that have more experience with replacement springs would be welcome.

To clarify, my remarks above pertain specifically to springs for the M1 Carbine. I've gotten Wolff springs of various sorts for various pistols (Glock, 1911A1, Beretta), and those were all fine.

Here's and update on the Wolf recoil spring, I bought the kit which has an extra power recoil spring. I put it in my QH tactical shooter and it worked like a charm, 3 - different 30 round mags no issues. FYI I also got a double power recoil spring for my CZ 52 in 7.62 x 25 Tokarov and it worked well.
Good service fair price for shooter parts.
