I picked up a Inland Carbine from a guy that needed the money, Good price for today. It's just a Arsenal Rebuild, no import marks but some mixed parts, ie Underwood trigger group, Quality Hardware front band. No marks on stock but nice. Ser# 6230xx bbl 8-43. All Carbines need a good home and I an here to help. I have a M1A1 repro. stock I think I will put on as I don't have one.

OK, This is what I did to my last Inland, (Just another pretty face ) I bought the Carbine for $620, Pretty clean rebuild. This repro. stock and with it a repro. leg carry case , both new for $120. I ended up with a nice (almost) M1A1 $740. I can't afford a real one so this is the best I can do and I am happy.

 Thanks for looking.

Wow that's gorgeous!

If you don't mind my asking where did you get the stock?

Now I have to find another M1 and do this too!

I bought the stock from a man that was leaving the country. I believe the stocks are made in Italy. You can go on line and I think there about 150-200.
 Thanks for asking.

Looking good! Many can't afford some original firearms and your approach is a great way to get close to an original. Thanks for sharing.

So I found this at Numrich for ~$200, looks similar to yours.

Now I just need to find a decent shooter to drop in it.

I've had my carbine less than a month and already looking for another. Ugh I think I have a problem.

Looks like that may be the same stock but that one looks like a low wood and the one I have is a high wood.
 Thanks for the kind words.

I just went to gunpartscorp and that is a NON Folding stock. Must be made for states behind enemy lines. Make sure you find one that is a folding stock

FWIW SARCO has repro folders listed-

I haven't bought one though, so can't attest to the quality but there are good reviews.

OK, That looks like a good one like mine, I bought mine from a privet party so I don't know where he got it. May have been Sarco.
Hope you find a Inland to put one on. It is a real problem, can't seem to have to many Carbines after you start.
   Best of luck.
