Charlie,
Thanks for posting the pics explaining single strike marks and the signs of restoration. Not always possible to inspect the trigger housing when it is in the carbine but something to know given the chance of when buying a trigger housing from someone. Obviously, it is the choice of the owner to do with a carbine what they chnose, but an original carbine is hard to find. If something goes wrong the condtion is ruined. Shooters and mixmaster are made to shoot. Think I also see the in the white or lighter section when finish was applied on the barrel. Don’t have my CCNL’s handy. Does anyone else see the same thing? |

I’m filling out the data sheet and feeling pretty stupid!
1.Hard to tell if springs are parkerised or blued 2. Can’t be 100% on the degrees on the firing pin with disassembling it. 3. Searched for info about extra cut on the bottom of receiver? Working on it😜 |

Dont get hung up on the back of the sheet.
Blued looks shiny black on springs. Park is a dull grey to a dark grey. In the white is no finish. If you turn over the receiver and look at the section where bolt slides back, look for a cut in the rail to clear firing pin when taking bolt out. The firing pin bridge is going crosswise on receiver. No need to take bolt appart. I suspect yours is 45 degrees and you have extra cut. If you take picture of bottom of receiver we can confirm |

I filled out the data sheet as best as I could and sent it in.
Looking to value this gun correctly to see if I’m keeping it or selling it. |
