Two sets of stake marks, one over the other. Only one example not from an QH, but wonder if some kind of issue forced the second set?

Is the pin blued? other side look undisturbed? So someone, maybe at factory corrected this by disrupting metal with a punch on the opposite side. This is all just conjecture on my part. Anyone else?

The pin is blued. Here is the other side. Not as disturbed, but think I see some type of additional staking other than circular.
Have been reading CCNL 278, 329 and 334. Wondering why manufacturers like QH switched rear sight pin staking methods? |
