D-tip sling question

   Hey guys.  I have a D-Tip sling that’s on its last threads in the loop area. I don’t trust it being able to hold during a carry so I was thinking of off loading it to used for display carbine or just for looks. I’m trying to figure out a time period for this one to know what I have before I get rid of it. It measures just a Hair under 1” wide and I believe the the loop to tip is 2.75 inches long but being frayed it’s hard to be exact.  Someone wrote what appears to be TM in two different spots

	Search, M1 carbine sling identification. I found lots of examples.
