Hi, I saw this on line and it has some great pictures. It's out of my price range and looks well used. I have no interest in the seller nor have I done business with them. I just like Rock-ola's, regards, Mike

That is one gorgeous piece.

I am not familiar with presentation carbines. Was it normal for the stock to be lacking the sling well cut out and any of the usual stamps/cartouche associated with production?

EXCELLENT REPORTING! 5 points to Mike
Anyone that sees any presentation or carbine of interest please do let us know.

crossed cannons were acceptance marks which made them government property. I would not expect to see them on a presentation.

Many used nice or highly figures wood. Some had carved wood.  I do not find the lack of oiler cut surprising as RO made their own stocks
