WOW ... Just came across an interesting item in my safe... Also found a Carbine I thought was lost :-)   NO , not for sale...!
What I found is a HISTORICAL item. is NOT FOR SALE..... I am looking for information on it ???
I know it was on a DRILLING before WW2 -- it belonged to Ernst Heinkel. Ernst was the owner of the HEINKEL Aircraft Factory that Hitler had the German Govt take over during WW2. After the War , the US Govt gave the factory back to Ernst , since he was a hater of Hitler and refused to be part of the NAZI regime.
What I want to hunt for, is the possibility of finding the DRILLING. It is out there somewhere...... I have the Scope and Leather carry case..with "double claw" mounts...all engraved and marked with the HEINKEL name. It came from a 10th Mountain Soldier here in Colorado.. Wish he had taken home the Drilling .. :-(
Let me know what you may think ..?? Thanks..
