IBM Front Sight Staking

   Has anybody seen front sight key retention staking as shown?  It's not chisel nor is it a milled notch "hacksaw" cut.  For context, this is off a late AO IBM with an undated IBM barrel.

EDIT:  Hmmm...CCNL 345-8, 378-16 and 384-24 metion square staking for adjustable rear sights.  Could it be that this tool was also used to stake front sight keys?
