The reason I brought up the engineering drawings is that they often have a "Revision List" table that might record the revision change from 33 to 45 degrees showing the date that it occurred, at least on paper. BTW, I agree with sling00 that all three receivers initially shown are 33 degrees. W5USMC's Winchester is 33 degrees as well. My late Inland is 45 degrees and the difference is quite obvious compared to my early QHMC which is 33 degrees.

Well my underwood's cut  looks pretty much the same as the others that I posted pictures of, so I guess 33 degrees. I still have 5 more to do data sheets on, so hopefully I find one where the cut is obviously different.  If so, I will post the pic.

Never really paid attention to the degree or the extra cut as shown. Probably need to go back and look again.

I just want to interject that the change, for Inland carbines, from the 33 degree cam angle to the 45 degree cam angle and the elimination of the "extra cut" took place in the second serial number block between serial number 3,055,010 and 3,078,735. If someone has a carbine between those two serial numbers and could provide data on this subject, it would be appreciated.
