Deep cleaning my trigger housing and discovered my sear is marked BOB Who is this and is it correct for an IBM. ThanksSmile

BOB should be a Type I sear in IBMs up through ~3,651,520 (according to Riesch).  I'll look at the NL index also.   My CMP IBM mixmaster has a BOB sear.

Hmm, would that mean only the first IBM had  BOB sear? LOL
We first see type three sears in the 389xxx range.

Well my SN is in the 3721 range 10/43 barrel date. I wish I could afford a war baby book but it wouldn't make much scents to have one for only two carbines. Thanks again to every one.

IBM, NPM, and Quality Hardware  used the BOB marked Sears.

CCNL 329 - IBM review
CCNL 329-10 - IBM example 3.72 with 10-43 barrel date and BOB no hole sear.

Have also seen BOB no hole sears in earlier IBM's. Don't know the exact range though. Think the earliest examples had unmarked sears.
