Hello,
I just acquired an IBM M1 Carbine s/n 3693XXX. It has the rear flip sight.  "L" sight. What is the correct range or elevation settings for this sight?

Per Craig Riesch in his book " U.S. M1 Carbines" on page 27 the ranges are 150 and 300 yards.

Per Bruce Canfield in his book "M1 Garand and the M1 Carbine" on page 193 the ranges are 100 and 300 yards.

Per Larry L. Ruth in his book " War Baby" on page 278 the ranges are 200 and 300 yards.

I do not have the M1 Carbine FM.

Thanks for your help.
