I bought this 1943 Inland from a guy.  Serial # in the 640,000's.  I paid $775.  I think I did pretty good.  Shoots good.  Does anyone know of anyway to track where the rifle has been?

Also, I know the 30 round magazine isn't the appropriate one, but that's all I had at this point.

Appropriate? Considering it has all the upgrades it would be "Consistent"

Looks like you got a good deal.
And welcome to the club!

Does it have any markings on the barrel? Anything that appears to be an import mark?

Looks like a mighty fine rifle to me. I'd pay $775 for it, that's for sure.

Nice looking rifle. Think you did just fine on the purchase.

Have seen quite a few carbines go for about the price of the recent CMP release.  Of course most required paying the juice (buyer's premium). Nice pickup.

Barrel date?  Markings?  Never know what's lurking on the inside of a carbine.
