New to site. My dad was MARINE inWWII 1St division,k,3,7 Peliliu and Okinawa.I own sag. gear import and Detroit police dept. surplus Underwood. Interested in m1 carbine,have war babies books,want more info on Detroit surplus m1s.

Gold Bill, welcome!
I do like those DPD marked on grip Carbines. Inventory number or something to that effect on receiver below the wood line? Post some pictures if you get a chance. Also If you go to the home page, there MAY be info on them or one of the links. New pages popping up all the time!
