I inherited 2 M1 Carbines and I was wondering where I could find any information on them.
1st serial #5698896 Winchester and it seems to have an "M" under it. 2nd M1 serieal #738897 and is stamped with "Inland Division on it. It also has "SG" stamped on the right side of it. No dates or anything else that I can see are on either of them except the .30 calibur number on them both. Any help would be appreciated !! thank you p.s. my email is kentwuellner@yahoo.com.

Kent, welcome to the forum. If possible, post some pictures of both carbines. Thinking your Inland has the SG on the left side not right side of the receiver.
