I see a seller in France is offering Type I bands with the screw but missing the swivel. I used the auction part number and came back with 1 Positive feedback by a buyer. He says they are Used US GI from WWII. They show wear, but pictures are limited. Guess you could ask for pictures of the weld spots. I believe they may be real. His price is $119.00 free ship. Seller name is blackhawk240. Here is the Ebay Auction # 124183751398 Just note that, IMO he has sold many flip sights as GI that were repro, safeties also I do believe. Over a year ago I lost a swivel and had to buy a commercial replacement from Northridge for $10.00 Charlie-P777 *** SEE EDIT ADD BELOW*** EDIT TO ADD: Only the Type I Swivels are advertised as WWII. The Flip Sights and Safeties are advertised as for a US GI M1 Carbine. NO MENTION ON THESE AS BEING WWII Era. Just advertised as to a Carbine maker.... Like a (Repro N-A) Flip sight for a National Postal Meter. Might mean something..... Might Not.
