Cool, but there's a lot in the 1.76 range. The above one is a CMP auction one and somewhere it was discussed about having the Bav Rural Police stamp off. The nearest are 1771060 and 1771130, the latter is believed to be demil. Just getting around to posting a lasted submission from 8-23-23. Sorry for the delay. There aren't a lot recorded in the 3.2 range yet. So the next highest is 3217235 and the next lowest is 3216373, both are IPs.

Saw this thread and saw only one with a lower number (1771060 as mentioned by tenOCEE above) the Irwin-Pedersen I got this past fall is Serial Number 1771130... It is alive and well in South East Virginia. See Show Report for Virginia Beach Gun Show for more details...

Oops, I got distracted and didn't update one. Sorry, about that. An IP that was previously not recorded even though it was a CMP auction release. It was submitted late last month and the next highest is 1771060 The next lowest is 1771155 shows demil and 1771183 is the next collected active Carbine serial.

I misread the info sent to me, so looking at the correct serial, the next lowest is 1836265 The next highest is 1838689.

Bingo for W5USMC! He notified me of an IP of serial 1786665 for sale on RTI's site and there is a consecutive with a number of 1786666 which went on my list in 2015.

A new one was submitted. The next lowest serial to it is 1769723 and the next highest is 1769768. 1769768 was offered for sale on CMP once, full of fake parts and asking about $5900.
