I would expect to see a round IBM bolt for your serial range.

Are you looking to correct or determine if what you have is original?
Might be best to post a data sheet and we can evaluate what you have

Your carbine was one of the last 20k made which was probably from the April 44 delivery. Is the bolt blue or parkerized?
What is the general makeup of the carbine parts and condition?

As previously stated above, one would expect a round bolt. Could it be a floor sweep? A long shot, but perhaps. Never say never as they say. Without seeing it or more information, hard to say.

Do the wear patterns on the bolt match the wear patterns/condition of the rifle? Bolt is blued with the expected internals? I would also expect a blued round bolt.

it looks like it came with gun, and is blued. as far as internals go, i dont have the tool to take it apart, and dont intend to do so.
