How does this stock stamp look? Opinions would be appreciated.

To me the O and I look too far apart, the bomb looks good, maybe too good. Here is a pic of an I cut Inland that whatacountry is selling.

I've got a similar stock in the basement. The bomb looks similar in size but mine is smeared and is undescernable.

First pic is I-cut that I'm questioning. Below, the one I found in the basement quickly is I also and the same era. Found a second I cut but has no bomb so am assuming it's a little later.

The second I found quickly down there. These are just comparisons and there are probably 50 or so Inland oval cuts down there.

Someone pointed me to letter 333 where I see 16 variations of sling cut markings. This marking would be a jump from #6 without the circle X marking. There was a period of wide stamped letters which had the flaming bomb and circle. #7 listed is a close OI spacing and flaming bomb with circle C. #8 is close spacing with flaming bomb only.

So, does the bomb look reasonable?

EDIT: is that maybe a crossed cannons between the IO and flaming bomb and a bit to the left making a triangular group?

The way I read the charts in Carbine Club Newsletter #333, an Inland stock with the spaced out "I O" and multi-flame bomb should also have a small ordinance wheel in the sling well.

I guess I should have looked at the newsletters before I made my 1st comment. That sure looks like a CC to me.

I have been looking for a O, CC. Flaming bomb. Number one on list.
Number 2 may work as it shows 5-42 BBl date

Does anyone else see an ordnance bomb inside the oiler slot? If not, never mind.
