I always amazed at this forum's knowledge! Some of you are clearly savants.

I'd love to see a picture of the carbine in question if at all possible. 1/1500 seems pretty rare to me

CCNL 369-4 shows less than 1500.
If you could please PM the serial and barrel details for club records only. A data sheet would be great!

Rickey,
CCNL 230 discusses Transferred Receiver Variations, unfortunately there is not a lot of info for the IBM to NPM transfers, no total quantity or timeframe listed. The CCNL does state that it appears that IBM only supplied the AO subcontracted receivers for these transfers. Also in the book War Baby it says that the IBM to NPM receiver transfers "probably" occurred in Nov and Dec 1943. Hopefully someone else can add some more info to better answer your question.

I picked this carbine up at a gun show last weekend. Ive not broke it down yet but going to as soon as work will let me get some time off.
Can anyone provide information on when and how many I.B.M. A.O. recievers were send to NPM?
