This is the experimental Hyde-Bendix general motors semi-automatic prototype. Thats my guess.

2nd prototype. Wonder if the first still exists. Presenter says their aren't many of them around. Assuming he means examples from the companies that lost. Interesting use of Garand like parts.

The best one, IMHO, is the one in this site's header. That is the holy grail of carbines. Unless the first prototype still exists?

The presenter said the 2nd prototype didn't work as well as the first. Guess that makes the first prototype worth more. Don't have a frame of reference, but it's a cool little peice. Better prototypes could be had I spose, but this one would do.

Looks like a carbine, Garrand and Modle 70 had a kid. The padding for the bolt was a nice touch.

Yes indeed,the second single pick is a vulcan in 44 mag. Used to own one.
