Gentlemen,

My knowledge and library is 20 years old and dated. It was not in any reference source back then, but has the Inland fat-boy dogleg made it into the literature yet?

If you look above your post there are 3 search boxes. the one on the left is for USGI carbines. Middle for commercial carbines and the right for the occupation carbines.

The occupation carbines are USGI carbines that stayed in occupied Germany and Austria.

Many retained their original parts. You can spend hours in the "Armory" section.

Our newsletters have discussed the fat boy/flat side hammers

CCNL 231 in Jan 1996 discussed the hammer and that it was most seen in S'G' carbines.

Later from the info gathered from our datasheets we established others and serial ranges.

CCNL 346 is the most up to date manufacturers update on the Inland's first serial block of carbines compiled by Chris Albright.

Page 20 shows that the IN type 3 (Riesch type IIa) was observed in the 404,xxx - 626,xxx range as well as a S.G. subcontracted Inland receiver in the 811xx range

My observation has been that the response times here can vary greatly.  That seems to be particulaly true of those who are very knowledgable in particular areas.   The many views may reflect people like me who don't know enough.  Some may reflect those who don't know off the top of their head but will go looking when they have a chance. 

Dave.  The newsletters are only in print.  There is a subject index on-line.  So if you see a topic of interest you can then order that newsletter.

 I got ta thinkin'. Does anyone have a "regular", as in not a "fatboy" IN marked dogleg hammer? I don't own one and do not believe I have have ever seen one. This begs the question...where all the IN doglegs of the fatboy variety?
