We are saddened to have recently learned of the passing of forum member James Pickering (Jamesicus). In the short time that James was a forum member he contributed valuable information about the M1 Carbine based on his experiences as an USAF Small Arms Marksmanship Instructor during the late 1950's and early 1960's. James retired from the Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant after 23 years of service. He and his contributions to the Carbine Collectors Club Forum will be missed.
