How can one tell if a Winchester trigger group is genuine?

By knowing the characteristics of the individual parts.

For starters check out our home pages which will make you familiar with the characteristics of the different manufacturers and their parts.

So are you looking at the whole trigger group or just the trigger housing?

Pictures would help, or describing why you think there is a problem with yours.

Wincesters the W sometimes appears absent.
