Been awhile since I've shot one of my Carbines,,,,needed to dust one off

The "HowaChester", I've been playing musical stocks and figured I needed to check zero on this one

1st 25 rounds, running 3 rounds at a time 50 yards bench rested. Bottom set of 3 I can clearly I'm aiming low. I remembered this Carbine I need to aim a tad higher to compensate for the front sight. I start correcting windage and "walking the aim point" up. I finally figured out if I put the front post on the edge of the 9 ring top I'll get center mass.

Next 25 rounds, I went 1-2 clicks to far left of course but dial it back

Last 50 rounds benched. I count 15 in the 9 ring and 5 I can see in the 10 ring, I figure the rest went in the hole in the center Big smile

Good enough for the day and I only brought 100 rounds of .30 Carbine. It'll due for now
