I recently bought a round bolt that was advertised as being a Winchester bolt. When I received the bolt, I found that it doesn't have the expected "w" stamped on the right bolt lug. It does have a "D" stamped on the left lug and what appears to be an "M" paint-stamped on the bolt body. Maybe the seller though the "M" was a "W"...?

Before I contacted the seller, I wanted to run it by you experts.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Nope, not a Winchester. From past reading, it was made by Drillmation. Here's a link with some very knowledgeable collectors discussing it: https://www.milsurps.com/showthread.php?t=30148

Should be a good shooter bolt, but if you paid for a Winchester round bolt (which aren't that easy to find), yep I'd contact the seller.
