R.I.P.  Korean War Medal of Honor Awardee Ronald E. Rosser

The combat exploits of Corporal Ron Rosser, US Army, were discussed in a Carbine Club article a few years ago.  See link below.  Sadly, he recently passed away at age 90

The American Legion published a story on him last week.  See link below.



Although the performance M1 and M2 Carbines suffered during the bitter Korean winters, they were used with great effectiveness by determined soldiers like Ron Rosser.

The Carbine Club featured another Korean War Medal of Honor awardee, Sgt. Ola Mize, in Newsletter 376.  This article contained a detailed interview with him regarding his use of the M2 Carbine.  The carbine he used in his MOH action was featured as Carbine-Of-The-Month.  His passing was announced in Newsletter 378.
