Great looking carbine!

Check out the receiver ring markings with the dot after the M1, I think that may be unique to SG. It also looks like the letters are more condensed than typical. It will be interesting to see what Smokepoles and Chipins receiver rings look like.

Also, notice the "E" stamped on the top of the barrel, another SG characteristic.

More info on Inlands first block features in CCNL 346.

Data sheet added

Jack, do you mean the E  on the breech is an Inland characteristic as per CCNL 346?

Yes, it seems to be a characteristic of Inlands with SG receivers in the duplicate serial number range. According to NL 346-6, "The significance of this mark is unknown."

Good morning to all. I have Inland 924xxx, SG on the left side of the receiver, Inland 10-43 barrel with hieroglyphs on the flat, I-I on the gas cylinder, and an 'I' stamped on the top of the breech. Just for info. Lou.

Gentlemen, RE the "E" on Barrel bevel or Knox form.  CCNL 346-6 list these markings and others.  It shows the "E" normally with 9 or 10-43 barrels.
I really like carbines

I have and had lots of 6 digit Inland carbines and rear sight is nothing like I have seen before. Overall, it's a nice looking carbine.
