I now have two of these. Has anyone else ever seen one?
Both of mine came on very early SNs, one an Underwood and one an Inland. Both carbines came with all the exterior parts refinished bright shiney deep blue - barrel, bolt, slide, recoil plate, flip safety and mag release. My .U. I've had for 40 years and have thought someone just did it for the heck of it. The Inland was recent. It is like there was a market for a configuration like this and someone was pumping them out.
I searched CCNL for "bronze" and "plum" and got no hits.
Decided to post......curiosity got the best of me.
Anyone need this Inland type II?

The plum color is believed from a refinish done at the wrong temperature.

have encountered couple Inland guns with the funky colored trig houses, believe both to be original late 42-early 43--is just something that happened I feel--these were not refinished in my opinion
